From oil & gas wells to unmanned open-pit mining trucks, industry abounds with applications that require local power, control and communications capabilities yet are far removed from the electrical grid or access to hardwired communication networks. While an array of technologies can be applied to the challenges of remote and autonomous operations, bringing the appropriate elements together tends to be both costly and labor intensive. How can the integration of today's expected functionalities--from local power and control to cloud-based analytics and smartphone supervision--be done more efficiently and effectively? In this webinar, Brian Gallogly of Quantum Automation discusses the important considerations and the new approaches that can get your remote operations up and performing with minimal effort and in record time. Please join us for our webinar on Enabling Wireless for Your Industrial Devices. There are many types of industrial devices that need to be accessed remotely, and many of them require a hybrid of both a wired and Wi-Fi solution. Sometimes, things have to move, or cost of cabling is too expensive. In this webinar, you will learn about the various types of Wi-Fi protocols, the common types of devices that are made wireless, and best practices for each. Availability is limited - register for the event now so we can save you a seat! Details: When: Wednesday, November 18, 2015 Time: 11am PST | 12pm MST | 1pm CST | 2pm EST Duration:1 hour | Presenters: Ariana Drivdahl Product Manager Industrial Wireless Paul Wacker Product Manager Device Connectivity |
Please join us for our webinar, Wireless Communication for Video Surveillance. As the world gets smaller, people are becoming increasingly more security-minded. This is no exception for the industrial space, with the vigilant monitoring of processes, goods, and people. In fact, some of these locations are remote, which make wireless technology a great option for bringing video surveillance feeds to a control center. Come join us for a webinar that will introduce some best practices on how to transmit video over wireless. Please register for the event so we can save you a seat! The Trend Towards Industrial IoT in Remote Asset Management. Remote asset management is not a new topic within the automation world. However, with the most recent trend of the Industrial Internet or Things (IIoT), it does change the implementation of remote asset management. We will take a look at how the IIoT trend addresses the challenges and difficulties that are faced when implementing a remote asset management system. Also, we'll discuss how remote asset management systems have evolved with the use of computers in replacement of traditional fieldbus automation equipment like PLC's and RTU's.

Please join us for Moxa's webinar, Energy Savings Through IP Connectivity. Making your business energy efficient is no longer just a nice goal to be "greener" – in practical and economic terms, it’s becoming imperative as electricity costs continue to climb. Before you can implement energy efficiency technologies, you need to audit and measure your consumption. Done manually, this can be a time and resource intensive process. By networking your devices you can easily share data and realize the power of real-time analysis and energy usage management. With Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity, you can quickly see where energy is being used, and take action to reduce waste — in many cases saving up to 20%!
