Using RGB light emission with automatic detection, Datalogic contrast print mark sensors detect the difference in the wavelength of the reflected light between a target mark and background. Sensing distances are from 6 to 12 mm; the sensors have teach-in sensitivity adjustment, NPN or PNP logic, and selectable light on/dark on outputs. Starting at $68.00, S8 Series compact contrast sensors feature horizontal spot orientation, a 25 kHz switching frequency, 12-30 VDC operating voltage and are available with IP67-rated plastic or IP69K-rated 316L stainless steel housings. Starting at $130.00, TL Series contrast sensors feature vertical or horizontal spot orientation, 10-30 VDC operating voltages, IP67 rated aluminum housings, and 15, 20, or 50 kHz switching frequencies. Datalogic contrast sensors are CE, RoHs and Reach compliant, and are cULus approved.
