PictureSTELLAR SR55 Series
Full-Featured 3-Phase Soft Starters
Fully digital SR55 series three-phase AC motor soft starters are available in three frame sizes with 24VDC, 110 or 230 VAC selectable control voltages and are designed for 17 to 477 full-load amps (at 200-480 VAC). SR55 soft starters provide full motor overload protection and built-in SCR failure protection. SR55s are ideal in applications requiring lower inrush currents and have a built-in internal bypass and patented iERS (intelligent Energy Recovery System) that reduces energy costs. The fully programmable units have a built-in touchscreen for application set up and monitoring and also feature integrated Modbus RTU with optional Modbus TCP or Ethernet/IP for communications as well as programmable analog and digital I/O for remote control. Starting at $975.00 with a two-year warranty, the SR55 series soft starters are UL listed, CE, REACH, and RoHS approved.

Full Featured AC Motor Soft Starters - SR55 Series
STELLAR® SR55 Series Full-Featured 3-Phase Soft Starters (17A - 477A) ... New!
  • 17A to 477A rated current versions @ 200 - 460 VAC
  • Frame Size 1: 17A - 96A
  • Frame Size 2: 124A - 180A
  • Frame Size 3: 242A - 477A

SR55 full-featured solid-state Soft Starters provide many advantages when used instead of electromechanical contactors to control 3-phase AC induction motors.
  • SR55 soft starters are fully digital, and use thyristors in all three motor phases for controlled reduced voltage motor starting and stopping.
  • SR55 series starters have an Automatic Application Setup that fully configures the starter for a specific application with one entry.
  • And the SR55 series has a built-in internal bypass and patented iERS (intelligent Energy Recovery System) that reduces energy costs when used on lightly loaded and oversized motors.
  • Full-featured SR55 series soft starter prices start at $975.00 (SR55-017)

Applications
  • General purpose applications where traditional across-the-line starting or wye-delta starting would typically be appropriate
  • Applications with oversized or lightly loaded motors (iERS reduces energy usage)
  • Applications requiring lower inrush currents
